Introducing Gary Dent, Your Chef
From the day my Grandfather a master Butcher, gave me my first set of knives when i was fifteen i have been inspired to cook and knew i belonged in a kitchen.
My Route to the Elephants head has been an interesting one. From Westminster Catering college where I was awarded my professional Chefs diploma, I was thrust into Chateau Tignes, St Omer, France. From there i worked my way up the food chain.
The Gaucho Grill in Knightsbridge was a favourite where i worked as head Chef preparing and cooking speciality Argentinian Beef using the finest cuts of Meat. From here i went on to work at Ghillies and the Prophet , At Frankies in Knightsbridge I worked under Marco Pierre White refining my skills In The Culinary world an experience which helped enhance my career as a chef .
Apart from my hospitality passion I also love Travelling and spent a year in Australia working in numerous restaurants and learning about Asian Food and other worldwide cuisines from around the Globe . This has made me realise how ingredients from different places taste depending on the season, the freshness in flavour and source.
